Behavioral Scientist & Speaker on Misinformation, Polarization & Democratic Alienation
I am a behavioral scientist and postdoctoral researcher at Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin. My work applies psychological expertise to global challenges, particularly misinformation, polarization, and democratic alienation. I focus on identifying psychological drivers of misinformation beliefs and developing effective tools to strengthen citizens’ resilience. I hold a PhD in psychology from Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
I was a visiting scholar at the Social Decision-Making Lab at the University of Cambridge as well as at UNESCO in Paris. Besides my research, I am deeply committed to translating scientific evidence into practice and building collaborations with policymakers and practitioners.
